✨ About the Jewellery
What materials do you use?
Each Hello Indie piece is thoughtfully handmade using natural gemstones, Czech glass beads, shell, coconut and freshwater pearls. I use quality gold-toned spacers that are anti-tarnish and hypoallergenic for comfortable everyday wear. Because many of the stones are natural, subtle variations in colour and pattern are part of their beauty.
Are your pieces handmade?
Yes — every necklace is individually designed and strung by hand. No mass production, no factory line. Just small-batch pieces made slowly and intentionally.
Are the gold accents real gold?
The gold accents are high-quality 18k gold PVD coated stainless steel. Therefore they are anti-tarnish, durable and suitable for sensitive skin. They are designed for everyday wear while maintaining their colour and finish.
Are your pieces waterproof?
Your necklace will be perfectly fine in the shower. However, I don’t recommend swimming in pools or chlorinated water, as harsh chemicals can affect natural stones and certain finishes over time. As with all artisan jewellery, gentle care will keep your piece looking beautiful for years.
Will the colours fade over time?
Natural stones and Czech glass are chosen for their lasting colour. Dyed stones and metallic finishes are sealed and stable, but like all handcrafted jewellery, avoiding harsh chemicals and prolonged water exposure will help preserve their richness.
Are your pieces hypoallergenic?
Yes. The gold components are hypoallergenic stainless steel and are suitable for most sensitive skin types.
📏 Sizing & Fit
How long are your necklaces?
Lengths are listed in each product description. Most Hello Indie necklaces sit around the collarbone or slightly below, depending on the design and your proportions. If you’re unsure, you can measure a necklace you already love and compare.
How are your bracelets sized?
Bracelet lengths are included in each listing. Most designs are made to fit an average wrist comfortably, with a little natural movement.
To check your size, gently wrap a measuring tape (or a piece of string) around your wrist where you would normally wear your bracelet, then compare it to the measurement provided.
Do you offer custom lengths?
Where possible, yes. If you would prefer a slightly shorter or longer fit, feel free to get in touch before ordering and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

How long will my order take to ship?
Orders are typically dispatched within a few business days. As each piece is handmade, slight variations in timing may occur during busier periods.
Where do you ship to?
Hello Indie is based in Australia and currently ships Australia-wide. For international enquires, please feel free to reach out at studio@helloindie.com.au
Will my jewellery arrive gift-ready?
Yes. Each piece is carefully packaged in a soft jewellery pouch or box, making it perfect for gifting — or for keeping.

How should I care for my jewellery?
To preserve the beauty of your piece:
– Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorinated water
– Keep away from perfumes and harsh chemicals
– Store separately to prevent scratching

Are your gemstones natural?
Many of the stones used are natural. Some may be dyed or enhanced to achieve certain colours.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Each necklace is handmade and many stones are natural, so slight variations in tone and pattern are part of what makes your piece uniquely yours. No two are ever completely identical.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
If you’re not completely happy, please get in touch within a few days of receiving your piece and we can discuss a solution. I want you to truly love what you wear.
What if my jewellery arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged (which is rare), please contact me within 48 hours with a photo and I will resolve it promptly.
